We're marking Customer Appreciation Day

Places Leisure thanks its members on the first anniversary marking the reopening of its centres

Places Leisure marked the one-year anniversary of the reopening of its centres after lockdown with a special video created for its members and community partners. The one-minute video addresses the challenges of lockdown and how members and community partners worked together with Places Leisure to remain active.

“While 2020 and 2021 may have shown us its worst, together, we were able to triumph, stay active and carry on. For the entire team at Places Leisure – the fact that you stuck with us is monumental. The whole reason we’re here is because of you,” Places Leisure told its members via email.

Paul McPartlan, Places Leisure CEO said, “The past two years have been enormously challenging – for our industry, our communities, our members. Everyone. We wanted to mark the anniversary with a token of appreciation by creating something special. We didn’t want to just say thank you – we wanted to show our gratitude. A video felt like the perfect platform to make our message clear.”

*Leisure Centres officially re-opened in England on 12^th April 2021.
