We're proud to support the ‘The Great Scott TreadMills Challenge’ for BBC Children in Need

This week, Scott Mills becomes Scott TreadMills! One of the nation’s favourite radio presenters is undertaking a 24-hour challenge in aid of BBC Children in Need, with the support from a collective of fitness companies coming together exclusively for this, S7RONGER, Freemotion from iFIT and Places Leisure.

Scott will be taking on a hugely rewarding challenge as he becomes Scott TreadMills for 24 hours, to raise money for BBC Children in Need, using the Freemotion Reflex Treadmill with iFIT interactive connected fitness platform. With the treadmill adjusting to any terrain and location in the world he wishes to go, some already ask, where will he go?!

The challenge will begin at 8:20am on Wednesday 16 November, finishing at 8.20am on Thursday 17 November, and will be broadcast live iPlayer for the full 24 hours live from the BBC Radio Theatre in London where it’s all taking place.

Scott will be joined by a host of special guests during the course of the 24 hours who will provide support and encouragement as they walk and run with him on one of four other treadmills. Walks and talks, star performances, and loads of hidden surprises.

Scott said: “I just hope I can step up to this epic challenge for BBC Children in Need. I can’t let the side down for the station, especially after seeing the incredible feats of endurance in previous years by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Joe Wicks and Rylan. To get in shape, I’m walking, doing lots and lots of walking!’

In the lead up to The Great Scott TreadMills Challenge, listeners will be able to listen along to motivational playlists to help them work out on BBC Sounds. If you want to join Scott on his fitness journey just head to BBC Sounds, tap the music tab and press play on Get Fit with Scott Mills.

STRONGER in partnership with Freemotion from iFIT and Places Leisure, have provided a line- up of Reflex 22 series treadmills and the team to cover the operation in support to this magnificent cause with Children in Need and Scott.
